"Se Ven"

$777.00

This painting was created to be in a group show and as the days went by leading to the deadline, the earthquake in Venezuela happened. That’s when I turned to the painting and used it as a channel to express my emotions. This painting turned into a reflection on grief, resilience, and the invisible ties between people across distances. The show’s theme is “Luck”, which I portrayed in my work as an ever-changing force that alters those it touches, shifting form through our lives and revealing itself in moments of loss and sudden hope. The piece reads like a landscape of memory, with mountains standing as silent witnesses above fractured cities.

Translucent figures drift across the canvas like ancestors, spirits, or survivors that are caught between worlds. In the center, an angelic figure watches over the nation as part guardian and part guide to the afterlife. The waterfall is a column of light that anchors and dissolves over the surface of layers led by intuitive emotional release.

This painting will be showing at The Radical Hotel gallery next to their restaurant “Golden Hour”. Opening reception is July 1st, 5-7pm.

*All proceeds from this artwork will be donated to my family in Venezuela to support earthquake recovery efforts. Shipping is free for this painting.
